Popular Towanda Kids’ Meals Program Seeks to Grow

Over a cup of coffee, the public has an opportunity to share ideas and suggestions for the Towanda/Benton LunchBox 2016

  • Offered for the first time in Towanda last summer, the LunchBox is a free meals 2016.04-23.CommunityChatprogram sponsored by Kids Need To Eat, Inc. (KN2E) for kids ages 18 and younger. Over 3200 meals were passed out in Towanda last summer.

A community chat to exchange information and learn about the LunchBox is Saturday, April 23, 10:30 am, at the Towanda Senior Center.

  • Community members in and near Towanda and Benton are invited — especially families whose kids came to the LunchBox last summer or might come this summer, and persons who might volunteer or otherwise support the program.
  • KN2E is seeking feedback about the LunchBox – including foods to be distributed, how to get more kids to participate this summer, and the program’s format.
